Are YOU struggling with an anxiety disorder?
Find hope and help here.

Anxiety Ate My HomeworkAfter a decade long struggle with several anxiety disorders, I've grown tired of feeling like a little kid without a valid excuse.

"The dog ate my homework!" A classic kid favorite, and it's never fooled a single teacher.

The problem is that I'm not a little kid. I'm a grown woman dealing with complex disorders and I found myself making excuses as to why I couldn't do what I needed (and wanted) to do.

When you tell the world you have anxiety, you usually hear the same responses over and over again. "Get over it!" "You're just not trying." "There's nothing wrong with you." "You're fine." "Just don't think about it."

It hurts the most when it comes from people you love, and it happens to us everyday. Others may not see it, but we know the truth: these disorders can be crippling. The isolation can be overwhelming. The depression can be crushing. These disorders are as real as any other medical condition.

I've struggled with GAD, Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia, Phobic Disorder, PTSD, and OCD. I read dozens of books, bought program after program, and read every online article I could find.

In the end, I found that I was the only one who could help me.

None of my safe people can save me.

No hospital or doctor can make me better.

No pill can make it all go away.

The books were helpful in showing me what I needed to do and how to do it, but in the end, it was up to me.

I had to decide how badly I wanted it. I had to make a choice, so I did. I chose to heal. What helped me? A very low dose of medicine, and a WHOLE lot of work. I'm slowly healing now, and slowly finding my way out of my self-imposed prison.

I use many alternative therapies and alternative approaches because I think that natural methods are always best. I'll share everything I've learned with you. You'll learn about common symptoms, therapies, medications, and resources for the future.

It takes time and determination, but I knew that I was worth the effort. I hope you know that you are, too. I'm determined that no one should ever have to go through through this alone, so here on this page you will find anxiety information, resources, and support.

The bottom line?

No more embarrassment.

No more shame.

And no more feeling like a little kid with excuses!

You are a beautiful, valuable, and worthy person. Don't let anyone tell you differently! This disorder can leave you feeling less than confident, but the truth is that you are NOT your anxiety! You are so much more.
